Race week is almost here! We're thrilled to welcome each of you to our beautiful region. Spring has sprung early this year, so expect to be surrounded by stunning colors, but also anticipate higher-than-expected vegetation growth. Some final updates here, so please read this email in its entirety. Opening Ceremony Updates:
The Opening Ceremony for Expedition Ozark will take place Saturday, April 6 from 15:00-18:30 at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. We have got an amazing show and we want you there! Ticket reservations are mandatory (even for EO racers!). 15:00-15:45: Red carpet reception with athletes, photo ops, live music, hors d'oeuvres and beverages. 16:00-16:45: Opening Ceremony begins 17:00-18:30: A Conversation with Mikael Lindnord, writer and producer for Arthur the King, followed by an exclusive screening of Arthur the King.

Race Schematic:
We have updated a new Race Schematic to the website at the below link. The information is the same, but we added details about each TA regarding whether it will have Power, Water, and/or Medical. Hopefully, this will help planning a bit more!
FIND IT HERE! Also - Jason and I wanted to give you a heads-up about the portages. While none of the paddling sections will require mandatory portages (except for some short safety spots like low-water bridges), there are some opportunities for strategic portages. Some of these optional portages could be quite long, but very tempting to take. Just keep that in mind as you plan how to distribute your gear!
